Founded in 2003 by Dr. Daniel Zangger Borch, who holds a Ph.D. in Music Performance with his 2008 doctoral thesis, “Singing in popular music genres — artistic, physiological & pedagogical aspects.”
Our ambition is to stay at the forefront of pedagogy, methodology and research into vocal function in the popular-music genres — and for every student to feel it in their own voice from the very first lesson.
The Zangger Method
The Mechanics
Vocal training adapted directly to anatomy and acoustic physics. By matching each vocal task with the ideal phonetics—such as pairing falsetto’s strong fundamental with the low first formant of close vowels [i] and [u], using vocal fry or semi-occluded vowels to balance vocal fold mass in chest register, or leveraging low lung volume for safe distortion—we let vocal physiology do the heavy lifting.
The Melody
Real melodies deliver real results. Rather than singing rigid, sterile scales, exercises are composed of authentic musical phrases so your technique translates directly into actual songs.
The Music
Total musicianship that sharpens ear training, harmony, and rhythm. By introducing unexpected variations, it stimulates deep motor learning—a method proven to help new vocal skills take root and lock in permanently.
